Loved the superfood salad for dinner, but my room had a weird smell.

the crown was a cozy spot with a comfortable double room, great bedding, and a lovely view of the cricket pitch. i particularly enjoyed the friendly service from jules, who went out of his way to help us. we had some delicious meals that made our stay even better.

The entrance hallway could use a serious once-over. cleaning materials were lying around and it felt a bit neglected. My room had some issues too. the bathroom light was flickering, and the mattress was rather saggy. while the food was a highlight, several maintenance details were missed that could improve the experience.

I had a delicious full English breakfast served in a charming atmosphere and found my room to be spacious with excellent tea and coffee facilities, though the hallway could use some tidying up.
